today's ROD.
mixture of feelings
The handing over of pace stick means alot. When I passed the pace stick to the next usm, I kinda felt relieved. It represents the responsiblity that a usm must have. When I march with both my hands back to the contingent, I know this responsibility would no longer weigh me down. Relieved, yet longing. Huey huey's words meant a lot to me. This part a cadet vomitted after the parade and she went into the toilet. Huey huey rushed in only to find Hweeboon who is their new nco inside, then she realise that we're no longer in charge. Eileen came and hug me and start talking about being my combat fighting partner. Before that, I was still very numbed but after I remember that we can never do combat fighting again, I started tearing. That was the last time I would wear my Number 3 uniform and be marching in the parade square. Senior Eileen's words : when it's time, just let go. Thank you NCC. Thank you Delta 2005. I love all of you.
